The oldest museum in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has been breathing life into the history and heritage of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund and its environs for 150 years. World Heritage Exhibition

The "Historic Centres of Stralsund and Wismar" have joined the ranks of the 1.154 unique sites of cultural and natural heritage worldwide, which include the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and the Acropolis in Greece. Stralsund Playing Card Factory

The Playing Card Factory (Spielkartenfabrik) is more than just a museum. In the workshop, visitors get a vivid impression of life in an old printing house by watching the historical printing presses in action.
